💡 Quick answer: Tesla sells the Model Y in Turkey, in four versions from 2.474.000 ₺. There are around thirty Supercharger locations, and they are open to non-Tesla cars at 13,00 ₺ per kWh (10,40 ₺ with membership). Full Self-Driving is sold as a 4.990 ₺ monthly subscription but is not fully switched on — it is waiting on Turkish regulatory approval.

Which Teslas can you actually buy in Turkey?

The short version: the Model Y is the car Tesla sells in Turkey. It is offered in four versions, from a rear-wheel-drive entry car to a Performance all-wheel-drive.

⚠ The Model 3 is the unclear one: Turkish sources contradict each other. Some state plainly that Tesla Türkiye only sells the Model Y and that no official Turkish price has been announced for the Model 3; at least one price aggregator lists a Model 3 with a Turkish price. We could not resolve this from public sources, so we are reporting both positions rather than picking one. If the Model 3 is what you want, confirm it with Tesla Türkiye directly before planning around it.

The Model S and Model X are not part of the Turkish line-up.

Tesla Model Y in Turkey: the four versions

Version Battery WLTP range 0-100 km/h Power DC peak
Rear-Wheel Drive 60 kWh LFP 500 km 5.9 s 220 kW 175 kW
Long Range AWD 75 kWh NMC 586 km 4.8 s 378 kW 250 kW
Performance AWD 79 kWh NMC 580 km 3.5 s 460 kW 250 kW

Charging from 10 to 80 percent takes roughly 24-28 minutes on a Supercharger. The car uses CCS2 for DC and Type 2 for AC, which means a Tesla in Turkey can use every public network in the country, not only Tesla’s own — see our Turkey EV charging guide for the other operators.

What a Tesla costs in Turkey

Prices below are from the October 2026 Turkish list, updated on 2 October 2026. Turkish car prices include heavy vehicle tax, which is why the same car costs far more here than in western Europe.

Version Turkish list price Roughly
Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive 2.474.000 ₺ ~50.030 $ / ~44.480 €
Model Y Premium Long Range RWD 3.906.000 ₺ ~78.990 $
Model Y Premium Long Range AWD 4.620.000 ₺ ~93.430 $
Model Y Performance AWD 4.996.000 ₺ ~101.040 $

Currency equivalents use the Turkish Central Bank’s official selling rates of 16 October 2026 (1 $ = 49,4463 ₺, 1 € = 55,6180 ₺). The lira moves, so treat them as a snapshot. For how Turkish vehicle tax turns a modest list price into a large one, the tax section of our Togg price guide explains the mechanism with worked numbers.

Superchargers in Turkey: how many, and what they cost

Tesla operates its own Supercharger network in Turkey, concentrated in Istanbul and Ankara with coverage along the main intercity routes.

⚠ Nobody agrees on the count: Turkish reports from 2026 variously give 28, 30, 31 and 32 active Supercharger locations, and one map site claims “35+” while labelling its own figure an estimate. The honest answer is around thirty, growing. For a number you can rely on, open the Tesla app or Tesla’s charging map on the day you travel.

Pricing is unusual in one respect: Turkish Superchargers are open to non-Tesla cars, and there are two tariffs.

Who you are Price per kWh
Any EV, no membership 13,00 ₺
With paid Supercharge Membership 10,40 ₺
Idle fee once charging ends up to 20 ₺ per minute

At 13,00 ₺ per kWh, filling the Model Y Long Range’s 75 kWh battery from 10 to 80 percent costs about 682 ₺ — roughly 10 $. The membership only pays for itself if you use Superchargers regularly; occasional drivers are often better off on another network.

Full Self-Driving in Turkey: sold, but not switched on

This is the part most international coverage gets wrong, because the Turkish situation does not match any other market.

  • It is subscription-only. Since 21 May 2026, Tesla Türkiye sells Full Self-Driving capability as a monthly subscription rather than a one-off purchase: 4.990 ₺ per month. Owners who already had Enhanced Autopilot can move across for 2.495 ₺ per month.
  • It is not fully active. What Tesla calls Full Self-Driving capability is not operating with all of its features in Turkey. Two things are still missing: the software rollout, and approval from Turkish regulators.
  • The application is in progress. Tesla has filed formally in Turkey. In Europe, the Netherlands, Estonia and Lithuania have granted approval; Turkey has not yet, and no date has been announced.
  • Workarounds get shut off. Tesla has remotely disabled autonomous features on Turkish cars where they had been enabled through unauthorised external CAN-bus devices.

So if you are buying a Tesla in Turkey partly for FSD, buy the car on what it does today. The subscription is real and you can pay for it; the full feature set is a regulatory question with no published timetable.

Frequently asked questions

Is Tesla available in Turkey?

Yes. Tesla sells officially in Turkey and the car it sells is the Model Y, in four versions. The Model S and Model X are not offered. Reports disagree on whether the Model 3 is currently sold, so confirm that one with Tesla Türkiye directly.

How many Tesla Superchargers are there in Turkey?

Around thirty active locations, concentrated in Istanbul and Ankara with coverage on the main intercity routes. Published counts in 2026 range from 28 to 32 and the network keeps growing, so check the Tesla app for the current map.

Can non-Tesla cars use Superchargers in Turkey?

Yes. Turkish Superchargers are open to other EVs. Without a membership the rate is 13,00 ₺ per kWh; with the paid Supercharge Membership it is 10,40 ₺. An idle fee of up to 20 ₺ per minute applies once your session finishes.

Is Tesla FSD available in Turkey?

Partly. Since 21 May 2026 it is sold as a monthly subscription at 4.990 ₺, but the full feature set is not switched on: it needs both the software rollout and approval from Turkish regulators, and that approval has not been granted. Tesla has applied; no date has been announced.

How much does a Tesla cost in Turkey?

On the October 2026 list the Model Y starts at 2.474.000 ₺ for the rear-wheel-drive version and runs to 4.996.000 ₺ for the Performance. Turkish prices include heavy vehicle taxation, which is the main reason they sit well above western European levels.
